Descriptive sheet AGPEG PLUS ESSE
Description
Agpeg plus esse is a medical device intended for effective bowel cleansing. Removing solid debris from the colon is essential for accurate diagnosis and preparation for endoscopic, radiological, and ultrasound examinations.
Mechanism of action: Agpeg plus esse contains macrogol 3350, an inert substance that is not absorbed, does not irritate the mucosa, does not ferment, and is eliminated unchanged. Thanks to its affinity for water, it attracts a large amount of fluid to the intestinal tract, hydrating the fecal mass and stimulating peristalsis.
It also contains simethicone which, thanks to its antifoaming action, is effective in absorbing gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.
Components
Macrogol 3350 and simethicone. Excipients: silicon dioxide, flavoring, sodium saccharin.
Gluten free.

Therefore, avoid taking them together: after taking a medication, wait at least 2 hours before taking Agpeg plus esse. If you are taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs, or diabetes medications, consult your doctor or endoscopy center for possible dosage adjustments.
The oral suspension must be prepared at the time of administration. If not taken immediately, the suspension should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours of preparation. Do not add other ingredients to the reconstituted suspension. Simethicone may interfere with the effectiveness of some diagnostic reagents, such as guaiac gum.
