BLEPHACLEAN STERILE EYE GAUZES BASED ON HYALURONIC ACID 20 PIECES

Description
Medical device.
Sterile gauze, impregnated with a lotion for daily hygiene of the eyelids.
Especially indicated:
- if you have sensitivity of the skin, eyelids or eyes;
- to remove dust, pollen and eyelid secretions;
- in case of inflammation or infection of the eyelids such as blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, stye or chalazion;
- to clean the eyelids before ophthalmic procedures such as therapeutic injections into the eye (intravitreal injections), laser refractive surgery (LASIK or PRK), and cataract surgery.
BLEPHACLEAN can also be used after surgery, under the supervision of a doctor or ophthalmologist.
BLEPHACLEAN respects the eye contour and the bacterial flora present.
The product has been tested under ophthalmological control.
Dermatologically tested.

How to use
Before eye surgery, use twice daily for 5 days or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
In other cases, use twice daily, morning and evening, for 3 weeks and then once daily for 3 months or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
In chronic eyelid conditions, use for long-term continuous eyelid hygiene.
No special training is required to use BLEPHACLEAN.
For contact lens wearers: remove lenses before using BLEPHACLEAN.

Wash your hands thoroughly before using the gauze pads. Tear open the pouch (Figure 1) and unfold the gauze inside; do not use any tools to open the pouch. Wrap the gauze around the top of your index finger. Keeping your eye closed, gently rub the gauze over your eyelids and the base of your lashes (Figure 2). Gently massage your eyelids using small, circular motions, gently removing any crusts, discharge, or makeup. In front of a mirror, gently pull down your lower eyelid with your other hand, then carefully rub the lower edge of your eyelids with the gauze wrapped around your finger. Repeat on the other eye, using a new gauze pad. It is not necessary to rinse after using BLEPHACLEAN gauze pads.

Components
Capryloyl glycine, sodium hyaluronate, PEG-8, poloxamer 184, polysorbate 20, Centella asiatica extract in propylene glycol (propylene glycol, Centella asiatica extract and water), preservative-free sebum-regulating complex [propylene glycol, iris root extract, zinc sulfate, PPG-5 ceteth 20 and retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), alcohol and water], PEG-6 caprylic/caprynic glycerides (e.g. macrogol 6 glycerol caprylcaprinate), dipotassium phosphate, sodium hydroxide, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, purified water.

Warnings
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Use only on skin; do not insert directly into eyes. Avoid getting BLEPHACLEAN in your eyes; it may cause a burning sensation. If this happens, rinse with sterile water or saline solution.
Check that the package is intact before first use: use only if the sachet is unopened.
Do not use any gauze more than once, as it may not work as well and could cause contamination.
You should contact a healthcare provider if your symptoms worsen or do not improve.
Do not use BLEPHACLEAN if you are allergic to any of its components.
In the absence of sufficient data, do not use BLEPHACLEAN during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by your doctor.
Possible side effects: burning or itching for a few minutes after use, redness or swelling of the eyelids, allergic reactions. In such cases, contact lens wearers should remove their lenses. If you notice any side effects or unusual sensations after using this product, contact a healthcare professional and report the information to the local distributor, manufacturer, or local health authority.

Conservation
Store between 8°C and 25°C. Do not expose to direct light or moisture.
Discard the gauze immediately after use.
Do not use after the expiry date, which is shown on the sachet and outer packaging.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month, provided the package is intact and has been stored correctly.
