Descriptive sheet CLIN 4000
Description
Class IIa medical device. Clin 4000 works naturally; it is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa, and is eliminated unchanged in the stool. A powdered laxative for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated for chronic constipation; it is also recommended for occasional irregular bowel movements. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens stool, facilitating evacuation. This promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain, or urgency. Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.
It contains no excipients or flavourings.
Sugar free.
How to use
Dissolve the powder by stirring it into any beverage. The contents of one sachet (10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml for children) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal teas, milk, broth, or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the beverage. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is recommended to take it between meals.
Due to its safety features, it allows for wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg: 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, depending on individual response. For a more rapid effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: The dosage should be based on body weight. We therefore recommend using the 200 g powder bottle with a measuring spoon, which allows you to customize the dose based on the child's actual needs until soft stools are achieved. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.
