Description
Flogodren capsules are a dietary supplement with effective anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects based on pineapple bromelain, horse chestnut escin, and Boswellia serrata resin. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme extracted from pineapple stems. It is absorbed in the intestine and has a strong anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect, reducing tissue edema. For this reason, it is used to decongest soft tissue (post-surgery, trauma, inflammatory joint diseases, bruises, and sprains).
A mixture of saponins called escin is extracted from the seeds, bark, and leaves of the horse chestnut tree, and has well-known medicinal properties. This phytocomplex contains several active molecules with proven anti-inflammatory properties, such as elucoside, and antioxidants, such as flavonoids and procyanidins. Escin increases capillary resistance and reduces permeability. It therefore exerts an anti-edema effect, supported by its ability to influence local electrolyte balance, promoting the removal of accumulated interstitial fluids. This capillary-stimulating and drainage effect, combined with anti-inflammatory properties and a mild antithrombotic effect, make horse chestnut extracts standardized in escin indicated for the treatment of peripheral venous insufficiency (swelling, heaviness, pain, itching, etc.), varicose veins and post-phlebitic syndromes, hemorrhoids, cellulite, capillary fragility, and edema.
Boswellia serrata, a plant rich in boswellic acid, can inhibit the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme responsible for chronic inflammatory processes, inhibit elastases, enzymes that attack the elastic portion of tissues affected by inflammation, and prevent the infiltration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMLs), which contribute to connective tissue destruction. It is used in the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases caused by allergic immunology. It is particularly indicated for inflammation of soft tissue, muscles, and joints, as well as of the gastrointestinal tract (colitis, Crohn's disease) and respiratory tract (anti-asthma activity).

Gluten- free (less than 20 ppm).

How to use
We recommend taking 1 capsule per day, unless otherwise indicated by your doctor, away from meals.

Warnings
There are no known side effects associated with the use of this product. Avoid use in cases of known hypersensitivity to one or more of its components. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources. Consume by the date shown on the package. The expiration date applies to the product in its intact packaging and stored properly.
Shelf life when packaging is intact: 36 months.
