Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids without preservatives.
LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, work synergistically with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), providing functional support to the lipid component present in the eyelid rim. Furthermore, bitamines A and E, as liposome stabilizers, help improve ocular and periocular symptoms associated with allergic and/or infectious inflammatory conditions.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of the epithelia subjected to various types of stress.
The lipid component of the tear film is essential in the function of containing the tear fluid, as well as in controlling its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution supports the functionality of the lipid secretions of the ocular adnexa glands (Meibomian, Zeiss and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.
