EYE DROPS
LTF is an ophthalmic solution containing hypromellose, which lubricates and hydrates the ocular surface. The formulation also contains lactoferrin, a substance normally present in tear fluid, which, by modulating the presence of iron, helps inhibit microbial growth. LTF is useful in all cases of tear film alteration caused by exposure to sunlight, wind, air conditioning, and digital screen use.
How to use
1. Hold the bottle upside down between your thumb and fingers.
2. Lower your lower eyelid and place the tip of the bottle near your ear without touching it.
3.Apply the recommended drops and close your eyes gently to distribute the product evenly over the ocular surface.
4. Press your finger on the inner corner of your eye towards your nose and hold it for 1 minute, keeping your eye closed.
Components
Hypromellose, lactoferrin, sodium N-hydroxymethylglycinate, EDTA disodium salt, potassium hydroxide, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, purified water.
Warnings
-In very rare cases, in patients with severely damaged ocular surfaces, the use of phosphate-containing ophthalmic solutions has been associated with corneal calcification. Therefore, consult your doctor before administering the product in cases of band keratopathy or calcium deposits on the cornea.
-The product is sterile until opened;
-Avoid contact of the tip of the bottle with eyes, surrounding surfaces, hands or other surfaces, to avoid contamination of the solution;
-Reseal the bottle tightly after use;
-Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components;
-Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact;
-In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor;
-Protect from heat sources and keep out of reach of children;
-Do not ingest;
-Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package;
-Dispose of any residual product properly in the separate waste collection;
-If persistent problems occur, consult your eye doctor;
-Do not use the product continuously for more than 30 days.
Conservation
Store the product at a temperature below +30°C.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 1 month.
