MERAMIRT OPHTHALMIC SOLUTION 8 ML

Description
Sterile ophthalmic solution based on hypromellose and inositol.
Hypromellose is a polymer that has the property of thickening and stabilizing the tear film on the surface of the cornea, creating a protective, transparent, viscoelastic shield.
The inositol contained in the product can help counteract the oxidizing action of free radicals produced in situations of asthenopia and accommodative effort and can support muscle metabolic processes, promoting their contractile response.
It is a hydrating and lubricating tear substitute useful in case of ocular disorders caused by environmental, visual and mechanical stress, also due to asthenopia and accommodative effort.

How to use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times a day, or more frequently as directed by your doctor. The product can be instilled into the eye even when wearing contact lenses.

Components
Main component: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, inositol.
Other ingredients: sodium chloride, sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dihydrate, disodium EDTA, N-hydroxymethylglycinate, water for injections.

Warnings
- Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.
- The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
- To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid allowing the dropper to come into contact with the eye or other objects.
- To avoid damage to the ocular surface, do not allow the dropper to come into contact with the eye during instillation.
- Close the bottle tightly after use.
- Do not use the product in conjunction with topical ophthalmic medications; if other ophthalmic medications are used in addition to the product, allow a 10-minute interval between the two applications.
- Before use, check that the bottle is intact.
In contact lens wearers, the product should be administered between each wear.
There are no known side effects after administration of the product. If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Mild, temporary blurred vision may occur after application.

Conservation
Do not store above 25°C. Do not use the product after the expiration date.
Do not dispose of in the environment.
Shelf life after opening: 28 days.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
