OFTYVIT EYE DROPS 5 ML

Antioxidant, nourishing, chelating, hydrating and lubricating eye drops.
A sterile solution of carboxymethylcellulose and methylsulfonylmethane, clear, colorless, and perfectly miscible with tear fluid: its pH, viscosity, and osmolarity are perfectly compatible with ocular tissues and tear fluid, making it highly tolerable. The synergistic combination of its components may represent a new approach to protecting against oxidative damage and preventing ocular aging, which is responsible for the onset of numerous ocular diseases and the decline in vision with age.
Carboxymethylcellulose acts as a viscosifier because it produces a hydrogel that is excellently compatible with the ocular mucosa, whose rheological characteristics result in effective and long-lasting bioadhesion to the ocular surface with a beneficial lubricating effect.
The excipient methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) was chosen for its antioxidant and nourishing effects. MSM also improves cell membrane permeability, promoting the delivery of nutrients and vitamins to the eye.
Other nutritional supplements present in the device are: Vitamin A , essential for the development of ocular epithelial tissue and for correct vision, including at night, and Vitamin E , which prevents the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids essential for cellular metabolism and vitamin A.

How to use
Instill 1-2 drops of solution into the lower conjunctival fornix of the eye, applying gentle pressure to the body of the vial. It is recommended to repeat the procedure 2-4 or more times a day, as needed; do not use with contact lenses.

Warnings
Given the absence of quaternary ammonium salts, the device can also be used by soft contact lens wearers after the expiration date indicated on the packaging. The device must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle. Keep out of reach of children.

Conservation
Store the bottle below 25°C.
