SHOYU ORGANIC
Soy sauce
Made with soy, wheat, and sea salt, it has a more delicate flavor and is less salty than tamari. Prepared using the finest traditional methods (fermented for 18 months in wooden barrels), the fermentation process enriches it with enzymes that stimulate digestion, and its rich protein content helps complement a predominantly vegetarian diet. Shoyu is pasteurized for one hour at 82°C (180°F) to prevent degradation and halt fermentation; its high water content would otherwise prevent its preservation. It pairs well with any savory dish. It replaces salt, bouillon cubes, and various flavorings. Also suitable for cold dishes, salads, and sauces. Use directly on the plate with rice, pasta, and sushi. Suitable for vegans.
