Components
Sodium carboxymethylcellulose 0.5%, glycerin 0.9%, sodium hyaluronate 0.1%, boric acid, sodium borate decahydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, erythritol, levocarnitine, purified water and sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid to adjust pH.
How to use
Prepare the bottle for first use:
1) Remove the clear protective cover by pulling it upward. Discard the clear protective cover. Do not use Optive Advance if the clear protective cover or the tab are damaged or missing.
2) Remove the tab from the colored cap by pulling the end of the tab away from the bottle and twisting it counterclockwise. Discard the tab.
3) Remove the colored protective cap by pulling it upwards. Keep the colored cap for later use.
4) Activate the bottle for the first use by slowly squeezing the bottle and dispensing a drop onto a tissue. Familiarize yourself with the time and pressure required to dispense a drop. Wait a few seconds after squeezing to allow the drop to fully dispense. Be sure to reinflate the bottle between each dispense. Repeat this process twice. Avoid letting the tip of the bottle touch the tissue.
5) The bottle is now ready for use. Gently squeeze the center of the bottle and release one drop into the affected eye. Please note that there may be a delay of a few seconds between squeezing the bottle and the appearance of a drop. Do not over-squeeze the bottle. Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye as needed. Once administered, allow the bottle to swell and then replace the colored protective cap, pushing it downward.
Please note that if used as directed, a small amount of Optive Advance may remain inside the bottle which may not be fully dispensed.
