What is it and what is it for?
TIROCULAR is indicated for the treatment of eye disorders caused by decreased tear secretion, with and without alteration of the mucous membranes lining the eye, such as: keratoconjunctivitis sicca, corneal conditions caused by decreased tear production, keratopathies of various etiologies and corneal ulcers.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use TIROCULAR 4% eye drops
- if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using TIROCULAR 4% eye drops.
It is recommended not to use soft contact lenses during therapy with TIROCULAR, because they may accumulate the preservative contained in the solution.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Transient localized irritation is possible and in highly reactive subjects, sensitization phenomena requiring interruption of treatment.
