DescriptionEye solution. Lubricating protection against dry eyes. Can be used by contact lens wearers.
No preservatives in the eye.
How to use
The usual dosage is one drop applied 2 to 4 times a day as needed or as directed by your eye doctor. The dosage is the same for children. Before opening a new bottle of eye drops, check that the safety ring on the bottle cap is intact.
1. Turn the cap counterclockwise to break the seal.
2. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.
3. Remove the cap.
4. Tilt your head back and look up.
5. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to provide a small pocket between the eyelid and the eye.
6. Hold the bottle between your thumb and middle finger and use your index finger to apply gentle pressure to the base of the bottle to release a drop of eye drops into the conjunctival fornix.
7. Blink a couple of times.
8. If the eye was missed, instill another drop.
9. Gently wipe away any excess eye drops from around the eyelid with gauze.
10. Replace the cap on the container, trying not to touch the applicator tip.
11. Allow at least 30 minutes to pass between administrations of other ophthalmic medications.
If the symptom persists, consult your eye doctor.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2% w/v, sodium perborate, in buffered aqueous solution.
Warnings
Do not use if the safety ring on the bottle cap is broken. Do not use if you are allergic to the product. Do not touch the tip of the bottle to your eye or any other surface. Do not share Xailin HA with other people. It may cause slight blurring of vision after application; wait until your vision is clear before driving or using machinery. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package or printed on the bottle. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. For external ophthalmic use only. Do not swallow. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using the product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Conservation
Store between 1°C and 25°C.
Shelf life after opening: 90 days.
