Description
Product for the treatment of constipation.

How to use
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass containing 125 ml of water and drink the entire solution. It is recommended to take the product at least 2 hours apart from other medications.
Adults, adolescents and elderly patients: dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 ml of water 1 to 3 times a day and drink the solution.
In case of prolonged use, the daily dose can be reduced to 1 or 2 sachets.
Patients with limited renal function: no dosage change is necessary.
Duration of treatment: ZETALAX 4000 can be taken for an extended period of time. Treatment of constipation with a laxative should be supported by a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Long-term use may be necessary in cases of severe chronic or persistent (refractory) constipation. This may occur in the presence of diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease, or in the case of taking medications that promote constipation, such as strong analgesics (opioids) or anti-Parkinson's drugs (anticholinergics).
It can be taken at any time of the day, regardless of meals. ZETALAX 4000 can be taken for an extended period of time (up to 4 weeks).
Please note that it typically takes 24-48 hours for the treatment to work. If there is no improvement after 4 days, it is still recommended to consult a doctor.

Components
1 sachet of 10.7 g of powder contains: Macrogol (PEG) 4000, 10 g; other ingredients: magnesium citrate, citric acid, calcium citrate, acesulfame K, lemon flavoring, potassium chloride, silicon dioxide.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not take ZETALAX 4000 if you have:
- hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) to the active substance (see composition);
- perforation of the digestive tract or risk of perforation of the digestive tract;
- intestinal obstruction due to structural or functional alteration of the intestinal wall;
- ileus or suspected intestinal obstruction;
- severe inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis) or enlargement of the colon as a complication of an intestinal ulcer (toxic megacolon);
- painful abdominal syndromes of undetermined cause;
- disease of the intestinal tract and large intestine such as obstructive or sub-occlusive syndrome.
The product should not be used by children under 12 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before taking this product.
If you take more than the recommended dose, side effects may be more severe. These will generally subside quickly. If you experience severe pain, swelling, or severe diarrhea, please consult your doctor.
