Warnings and precautions
Use immediately after opening the container. The solution must be clear, colorless, and free of visible particles. Any residue should not be used.
Continuous administration may cause fluid overload, congestive heart failure, and decreased electrolyte concentrations; continuous administration without additional potassium may cause hypokalemia (decreased potassium concentration in the blood).
