How to use
Adapt barrier rings can be applied under hydrocolloid plates and adhesives, even in combination with leveling paste. For proper application, the skin must be clean and dry.
1. Both protective films of the barrier ring can be removed at the same time or, if preferred, only one film can be removed, keeping the opposite film for easier application.
2. Shape and stretch the barrier ring as needed before applying it to the baseplate. To facilitate the ring's fit, it may be necessary to remove both protective films.
3. Position the plate with the ring, centering it on the stoma. Hold it in place for several seconds.
4. Gently peel back from the skin, working from top to bottom, keeping the skin taut with light pressure.
