ENTEROSGEL

Description
Medical device.
Gastrointestinal adsorbent indicated for the treatment of acute diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea.
ENTEROSGEL is an oral intestinal adsorbent (enterosorbent) composed of an organic mineral, capable of adsorbing certain toxic and harmful substances (for example endotoxins and enterotoxins) in the intestine, which it physically binds to its surface, reducing the frequency of bowel movements and the duration of diarrhea.
ENTEROSGEL is eliminated through the feces, removing adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, with beneficial effects in the treatment of the indicated conditions.

- Take ENTEROSGEL at least 2 hours before or after taking oral medications.

- At the beginning of treatment (day 1) it is possible to double the first dose and then continue with a single dose after each bowel movement, up to a maximum of 8 doses on the first day.
- During the treatment of chronic diarrhea, the dosage can be adjusted based on the consistency of the stool and the frequency of diarrhea.
- Dosage may be increased to 2 doses, up to 3 times a day, if stools are loose or reduced to 1 dose a day if stool consistency is normal. A maximum of 6 doses per day may be taken.
