BD Micro-Fine
Pen needles designed to ensure effective and reliable subcutaneous insulin delivery. The needles are compatible with all commercially available insulin pens; they are also compatible with Eli Lilly's Forsteo (osteoporosis) and Humatrope Pen 3 (growth hormone) devices. To ensure maximum patient comfort, each needle is manufactured using the most advanced technologies:the triple sharpening allows to reduce the pressure needed to insert the needle tip into the skin;
unique lubrication reduces needle penetration resistance;
the special honing treatment guarantees ideal sharpening and removes any metal residue, allowing the needle to penetrate more easily;
Thin Wall technology: the needle has a larger internal diameter, which results in better insulin flow capacity and reduced penetration force.
How to use
BD Micro-fine pen needles are compatible with all currently marketed diabetes pens. Using the appropriate length needle and proper injection technique ensures effective, comfortable, and safe subcutaneous insulin injections, minimizing the risk of intramuscular injections.
