What is it and what is it for?
ALLERGAN is an antipruritic, meaning it soothes itching and discomfort resulting from irritation, insect bites, and redness of the skin caused by excessive exposure to the sun.
ALLERGAN is used for the local symptomatic treatment of itchy dermatitis, sunburn, and insect bites (i.e. to relieve itching and discomfort caused by irritation, insect bites, and redness of the skin caused by excessive exposure to the sun).
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Children under 2 years old.
Known hypersensitivity to the components and to other antihistamines of similar chemical structure (dimenhydrinate, carbinoxamine maleate).
It is advisable to consult your doctor if these symptoms have already occurred.

Warnings and precautions
Do not use under occlusive dressings. Use of the product, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization (an allergic reaction). If this occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Possible side effects
Burning, skin rashes, and photosensitivity reactions (appearance of spots on the skin after exposure to the sun) have been reported.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
