Description Low-protein cherry-filled baked confectionery. Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of: chronic kidney disease (nephropathy), congenital metabolic disorders (phenylketonuria/PKU), or other conditions requiring a low-protein diet, with a protein content of less than 2%, and low phosphorus, potassium, and phenylalanine. In cases of chronic kidney disease, a diet low in protein, potassium, and phosphorus is recommended; the level of phenylalanine in this product makes it suitable for a diet with a low and controlled intake of this amino acid.
