Low-protein cherry-filled baked confectionery. Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of: chronic kidney disease (nephropathy), congenital metabolic disorders (phenylketonuria/PKU), or other conditions requiring a low-protein diet, with a protein content of less than 2%, and low phosphorus, potassium, and phenylalanine. In cases of chronic kidney disease, a diet low in protein, potassium, and phosphorus is recommended; the level of phenylalanine in this product makes it suitable for a diet with a low and controlled intake of this amino acid.
Ingredients
Cherry filling 23% (glucose-fructose syrup, cherry puree 35% - the percentage of cherry puree refers to the filling, - sugar; thickeners: pectin with added sodium pyrophosphate and sodium alginate; acidity regulators: citric acid, sodium citrate and calcium citrate; preservative: potassium sorbate; colouring: carmine, flavourings), gluten-free wheat starch, non-hydrogenated vegetable margarine (refined palm oil, water), sugar, eggs ; stabilizer: sorbitol; milk ; thickeners: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; guar flour, rice starch, sugar granules 3%; emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, alcohol, corn starch; raising agents: ammonium bicarbonate; sodium bicarbonate; sodium pyrophosphate, flavourings.
May contain traces of: soy, nuts, mustard, sesame seeds, lupins .
