The Adapt Ring is a medical device for stoma management. It is alcohol-free and ideal even for those with skin lesions. Made of Flextend M hydrocolloid, which is highly resistant to erosion, it expands upon contact with liquids, creating a seal between the skin and the stoma. Easy to apply, it optimizes the level of skin protection. It maintains its shape without alterations and forms a perfect seal against leaks.
Latex-free. Free from DEHP, DBP, and BBP.
Duration in use: duration of use varies based on the time the stoma bag is used.

How to use
Adapt barrier rings can be applied under hydrocolloid and adhesive baseplates, even in combination with raising paste. For proper application, the skin must be clean and dry.
Both protective films of the barrier ring can be removed simultaneously, or, if preferred, just one film can be removed, keeping the opposite film for easier application. Shape and stretch the barrier ring as needed before applying it to the baseplate. To facilitate the ring's fit, it may be necessary to remove both protective films. Position the baseplate with the ring, centering it over the stoma. Hold in place for several seconds.
To remove, gently peel off the skin from top to bottom, keeping the skin taut with light pressure.
