BIO KMag
Dietary supplement based on potassium and magnesium citrate, useful for supplementing these nutrients in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased needs. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, normal energy-yielding metabolism, electrolyte balance, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function.
Warnings
For potassium intake, it is recommended to consult your doctor. Concomitant use of certain medications may also interfere with potassium retention in the body. Use is not recommended for children. BIOKMAG is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or conditions that may predispose to the onset of these plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus). Concomitant use of BIOKMAG and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) may cause hyperkalemia. In these cases, it is recommended to monitor potassium levels. No interactions with other medications are known. Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances may occur during treatment, such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea. These symptoms may be alleviated by taking BIOKMAG on a full stomach. If these or other side effects occur, it is recommended to contact your doctor. The product contains polyols: excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. The product may promote urine alkalinization.
