What is it and what is it used for?
BRUNAC contains the active ingredient acetylcysteine.
This medicine is indicated for the treatment of:
- corneal ulcers;
- keratopathies of different etiologies;
- corneal diseases, caused by altered tear secretion.
Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a few days.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not use BRUNAC
- if you are allergic to acetylcysteine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

The unpleasant (sulphurous) odor, which you may notice when opening the bottle, is a characteristic of the active ingredient and does not indicate an alteration of the medicine.
Children and adolescents
This medicine is not intended for use in children, except in cases of absolute necessity and under strict medical supervision.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effect may occur:
