RECTAL CANNULA
SILICONE NEWBORNS

CE medical device.
Rectal cannula for newborns, 100% medical grade platinum silicone, indicated to facilitate the evacuation of air and feces from the intestines of newborns.
Made of biocompatible and water-repellent material. Easily washable. Non-sterile, latex-free, and phthalate-free.
Available in various diameters (4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm). Length 10 cm.

How to use
• Clean and sanitize the product before each use.
• Gently insert the tip of the cannula, from the smaller diameter side, into the baby's anus.
• Remove the device with extreme delicacy.

Contraindications
Do not use on individuals with known sensitivity to silicone.

Warnings
Before use, carefully inspect the device for damage and wear. Do not use damaged products. Take care not to allow the device to come into contact with sharp or pointed objects that could damage it. Avoid contact with solvents, oils, and greases.

Cleaning and Disinfection
• After each use, remove any residues external and internal to the cannula under running water.
• Immerse the product in a detergent/disinfectant solution (to determine the concentration, follow the instructions of the detergent/disinfectant manufacturer).
• Make sure that the entire internal surface of the cannula comes into contact with the disinfectant solution.
• Rinse the device under running water, taking care to also direct the jet of water inside the lumen of the cannula.
• Dry carefully, preferably in a vertical position and in any case away from heat sources.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, artificial light, and heat sources.
