Bladder catheter
SILASIL
Indwelling Foley-type bladder catheter, made of silicone-latex-silicone, with funnel and special valve for syringes with Luer and Luer-Lock connectors; radiopaque tip.
For postoperative bladder catheterization.

Duration: 30 days.
From a clinical perspective, the actual in-situ dwell time is closely related primarily to the patient's conditions, such as urine concentration and pH, infections, the patient's tendency to form stones, and metabolic deficiencies. Based on these parameters, the dwell time may vary from patient to patient.
Composition
The construction material is SILASIL (silicone-latex-silicone).
Important: The latex layer is located in the inner portion of the catheter; the urethral wall and urine are always in contact with a silicone layer.
Free from DEHP, drugs, substances and biological fabrics.
Warnings
TELEFLEX products are gamma-sterilized in accordance with UNI EN ISO 11137-1:2006; UNI EN ISO 11137-2:2008; and UNI EN ISO 11137-3:2006 standards. The sterilization date, expiration date, and batch number are clearly marked on the product packaging.
Sterility is not guaranteed if the package is not intact.
Use immediately after opening the package.
Single-use product, non-resterilizable.
Chemical-physical incompatibility of materials with substances with which they may potentially come into contact:
- fats and oils, such as petroleum jelly and paraffin oil
- organic solvents such as benzene and ether
- oxidizing materials such as hydrogen peroxide, sulfur hypochlorite
disinfectants containing phenol or similar.

Conservation
Store at room temperature, away from direct light. Prolonged exposure to fluorescent light, sunlight, or heat will damage the device.
Sterilization duration: 5 years from date of manufacture.
