Profilcath Plus AcquaFlate
PERMANENT BLADDER CATHETERCharacteristics:
dynamic bladder catheter with balloon, for long-term use, Class IIB, with longitudinal grooves, in 100% pure silicone, with special valve funnel for Luer and Luer-lock syringes, cylindrical tip, two lateral holes, with pre-filled syringe with water and 10% glycerine for inflation of the balloon, in single sterile packaging containing the instructions for use.
The longitudinal grooves reduce the contact surface between the urethral wall and the catheter, allowing the urethral secretions to flow outwards and ultimately avoiding pressure sores.
The pre-filled syringe ensures a better seal of the balloon and avoids dislodgement of the catheter as well as reducing time in preparing the material.
Single packaging guarantees the sterility of the product during transport and preparation for catheterization, as required by current regulations 93/42/EEC.
