Descriptive sheet CHELO TUBEX
Class I medical device pursuant to Directive 93/42/EEC and update.
Film-forming and protective gel - adjuvant for the reduction of scar tissue - based on onion extract, sodium heparin, allantoin, snail slime and vitamin E acetate.
Local adjuvant treatment, with film-forming and protective action, indicated for:
- the reduction and improvement of the appearance of scars caused by any skin damage (acne, surgery, wounds, burns, infections, cuts), even in advanced stages of healing;
- reduction of color, size and degeneration of keloids.
- the controlled regeneration of the collagen component allows for the creation of new, smooth tissue with a pleasant texture.
The action of Chelo Tubex is due to the presence of a series of active ingredients with documented and validated properties that, at the concentration used, are free of any possible side effects. The combination works primarily by regulating the restoration of the activity of factors influencing some fundamental processes that promote skin remodeling. The film-forming components allow for ideal breathability and a protective barrier of the area's microclimate, complementing the action of the other main ingredients.
• Onion extract: the extract contains bioflavonoids and metalloproteinases which justify its use in the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic wounds and keloids.
• Sodium heparin: it is active in the local treatment of inflammatory conditions resulting from trauma from contusions (wounds), lesions (acne), burns.
• Allantoin: has a hydrating and keratolytic action (i.e. capable of softening and dissolving the horny tissues), facilitating the formation of new tissue.
• Snail slime: provides viscosity and film-forming, soothing and hydrating properties that accelerate the renewal process of damaged tissue, preventing keratosis and keloid formation.
• Vitamin E acetate: its action is important in the post-trauma period due to its influence on collagen production.
