nasal ointment
Description
CE Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC) Class IIb.
Lubricating and emollient treatment for maintaining the hydration of the nasal mucosa in cases of dryness and irritation, even in the presence of crusts, due to:
- particular environmental conditions;
- pharmacological treatments;
- pathologies such as rhinitis and/or sinusitis.
It also supports the natural re-epithelialization and repair processes of the nasal mucosa following surgery, superficial injuries, and nosebleeds, and has a protective and hydrating effect that prevents crusting. It is also indicated for dryness and irritation of the perinasal area.
How to use
Wash your hands before using the medical device.
Dispense an adequate amount of product onto your finger depending on the size of the area to be treated and gently apply a thin layer of ointment inside the nostril and/or in the perinasal area.
Adults and children: apply 2-3 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor.
The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms.
It can be used at any time of the day.
Ingredients
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt, Centella asiatica, calendula, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, BHT, vitamin E acetate, propylene glycol, white petrolatum, vaseline oil, castor oil, carnauba wax, benzalkonium chloride.
Warnings
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
It is advisable to consult your doctor before using the product in combination with other medical devices or nasal medications.
Use, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization and irritation. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor for appropriate treatment.
If you experience any other side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not administer to children under 3 years of age.
Treatment in children should be done under adult supervision.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not ingest.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging, stored correctly.
Do not use after the expiry date or if the package is opened or damaged.
Medical devices should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste; ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unused medical devices. This will help protect the environment.
Conservation
Store the medical device tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
