CONNETTIVINABIO CREAM 25 G

The product is indicated for the treatment of skin irritations and lesions.
In particular, it is intended to cover acute and chronic wounds (abrasions, tissue donor sites, post-operative incisions, first and second degree burns, vascular and metabolic ulcers, and bedsores) and to provide a moist environment, thus protecting against abrasion, friction, and desiccation.

The product is a topical preparation consisting of hyaluronic acid as the main component.
Hyaluronic acid is a biological polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) distributed in the cellular matrix of many tissues.
Thanks to its hydrophilic properties, it provides a hydrated space around and between cells, thus facilitating cell migration.

Composition
Main component: hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.2%.
Other ingredients: polyethylene glycol 400 monostearate, oleic acid decylester, emulsifying wax, glycerol, 70% sorbitol solution, sodium dehydroacetate, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, fragrance, purified water.

How to use
Wounds and ulcers must be cleaned and disinfected before treatment.
Apply a thin layer of cream to the wound surface, two or more times a day.
The treated area should be covered with sterile gauze or a sterile bandage.
Do not administer to patients with known individual hypersensitivity to the product components.

Warnings
Do not use the package if damaged.
Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the package.
Avoid direct contact of the container with the wound.
Each tube of product should be used by only one patient in order to reduce the risk of cross-infection.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use in conjunction with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts, as hyaluronic acid may precipitate in their presence.
Concomitant topical treatment of wounds with antibiotics or other local agents has never given rise to interactions or incompatibilities with the product.

Conservation
Store below 30°C.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 36 months.
