Descriptive sheet VULNAMIN CREAM
Cream to aid healing processes.
Vulnamin is a non-animal cream used as an adjuvant to promote the healing of wounds that cannot be closed with sutures and that have damaged the dermis, such as chronic ulcers and bedsores. It facilitates faster tissue regeneration and maintains ideal moisture levels to promote re-epithelialization of skin lesions.
Vulnamin is an invasive medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD; it is intended to assist the cellular reintegration process to promote rapid wound healing. Thanks to its action, it promotes the reconstruction of connective tissue and the consequent regeneration of epithelial cells.
Unlike many astringents that cause vasoconstriction, soaps that can generally cause edema or dehydration, or rubbing alcohol that can cause damage by removing fat from the skin, making the skin drier and more prone to cracking, Vulnamin cream promotes the elimination of necrotic tissue and protects the integrity of the skin. Maintain continuous observation of the wound. The interval between dressing changes depends essentially on the condition of the wound. Initially, daily changes may be necessary. After a few days, the interval between dressing changes can be extended to a maximum of 3 days.
How to use
Apply a layer of cream commensurate with the extent of the wound. Reapply the dressing to the ulcer with varying frequency based on the extent of the wound and the rate of absorption of Vulnamin.

Warnings
Before applying any dressing, wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material with saline solution, spraying from the inside of the wound outward. After cleaning the area, you can dab the wound with sterile gauze to remove any excess blood. If the injury does not require further intervention, apply Vulnamin after cleaning to promote healing.
Known hypersensitivity to the components. No overdose is known. No interactions with drugs or medicinal substances are known. Vulnamin is a highly tolerable product; however, local reactions due to hypersensitivity may rarely occur, which resolve spontaneously.
