DescriptionSterile, pyrogen-free, latex-free, phthalate-free, disposable product.
How to use
- Close the roller on the fitting.
- Remove the central diaphragm protection from the bottle cap and clean it with an antiseptic solution before piercing it.
- Hang the bottle.
- Remove the protection from the fitting punch.
- Insert the punch with a rotary motion into the central depression of the cap.
- Compress and decompress the drip tray to partially fill it.
- Remove the protection from the terminal (luer lock) of the connector and attach a sterile, non-pyrogenic intravenous infusion needle to it.
- Open the roller, open the nozzle with the air filter, and fill the fitting and needle with the solution. Eliminate any air bubbles.
- Close the roller, remove the needle from the shield and insert it into the vein.
- Adjust the administration speed with the roller.
- Any medications can be added to the solution in the bottle by injecting them through the Y-connector.
Warnings
Do not use if the packaging is damaged and/or if the caps are damaged or detached. Discard after use, following the precautions adopted for potentially contaminated material. Do not use on I-pumps. Do not use for blood and blood products. Do not reuse due to the risk of patient contamination. The product must be used by specialized medical and nursing personnel. Use the connector and needle immediately after removing the caps.
