Descriptive sheet Rinowash Ego
Description
The device is a portable micronized nasal irrigator for aerosol therapy. The device consists of a base unit containing a pneumatic microcompressor and a rechargeable battery. The medication container with its nebulization bell is located on top. It is powered by a rechargeable battery, and the charge level is indicated by three LEDs. When activated, the liquid in the container is nebulized into the nasal cavities via an atomizer. Excess fluid and nasal secretions are collected in a space between the two bells. The device is a micronized nasal irrigator for aerosol therapy that allows for the treatment of upper respiratory tract conditions and the physiological (with saline, hypertonic, or thermal water) and/or therapeutic (with medications) rinsing of the nasal cavities. The device produces a jet of micronized solution that, when directed into the nasal cavities, promotes hydration, fluidification, and the removal of mucus and phlegm.

How to use
Caution: Liquids entering the handpiece will damage the electrical components and pose a safety hazard. Before proceeding with the operations described below, remove the accessories from the handpiece. To perform these operations, make sure the power cord is not connected to the device's USB port.
Basic unit:
Cleaning: Do not rinse under water. Use a soft, damp cloth; a non-abrasive, neutral detergent may be used.
-Disinfection: Use a sponge or soft cloth moistened with a cold disinfectant solution (such as a solution with a concentration of sodium hypochlorite no greater than 2%), following the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure the solution is compatible with the material the base unit is made of.
-Sterilization: the sterilization cycle is not foreseen.
Upper part components:
Cleaning: They can be washed in hot water (approx. 40°C) using detergent (dosage according to the detergent manufacturer's instructions) and rinsed under running water. Once all parts are clean, they can be dried with a soft cloth and stored.
- Disinfection: After washing, they can be immersed in a cold disinfectant solution (such as a solution with a sodium hypochlorite concentration no greater than 2%), following the manufacturer's instructions. The accessories can be disinfected by boiling them in water for a maximum of 10 minutes: the components must not come into direct contact with the bottom of the pan.
-Sterilization: they are compatible with the autoclave sterilization cycle at 121°C for at least 15 minutes (max 30 minutes) for a maximum of 20 cycles.
