Active ingredients
1 tube of 0.5 ml of solution contains: praziquantel 20 mg. Excipients: butylhydroxytoluene (BHT - E321) 0.5 mg. For a full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

Directions
Anthelmintic for cats. Effective against mature and immature forms of Dipylidium caninum and Taenia spp. Praziquantel's spectrum of activity covers all important tapeworm species found in cats. It specifically includes all Taenia species that infest cats, Multiceps multiceps, Joyeuxiella pasqualei, Dipylidium caninum, Mesocestoides spp., Echinococcus granulosus, and Echinococcus multilocularis. Praziquantel is effective against all intestinal stages of these parasites present in cats.

Dosage
The minimum recommended dosage is 8 mg praziquantel/kg body weight. This dosage corresponds to 1 tube per 2.5 kg body weight. Body weight: 1 - 2.5 kg; tubes: 1. Body weight: 2.5 - 5 kg; tubes: 2. Body weight: 5 kg; tubes: 3. Spot-on application. The solution is administered through the tube, making application easy and safe. Remove a tube from the package. Hold the tube upright, unscrew and remove the cap. Use the cap upside down to twist and remove the seal from the tube. Using two fingers, part the fur on the back of the neck, immediately behind the head, so that the skin is visible. Holding the tube upright, place the tip of the tube on the skin and, applying several pressures, apply the entire contents to the affected area. It is especially important to apply the dose to an area that the animal cannot lick. Single treatment.

Conservation
After opening the blister, store the unused pipette away from light. Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 30 months.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Droncit Spot-on can be administered to pregnant females. Praziquantel is safe for both the female and the prenatal fetus and the newborn kitten.
