RIGID THUMB ORTHOSIS FOR REST
Immobilize your thumb in the resting position by opening the commissure between your index finger and thumb. Aligning the bones limits the forces exerted on the trapeziometacarpal joint and relieves pain.
At night and in all situations where the hand is not used, regularly wearing the EPITACT rest orthosis helps relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps limit the progression of rhizarthrosis.
Thanks to the anatomical reinforcements that allow it to adapt perfectly to the shape of the hand, the rigid rest orthosis offers optimal comfort. Lightweight and ultra-thin, it feels almost like you're not wearing it.
Maintenance
Hand wash at 30°C with mild soap, no detergents or bleach. Rinse thoroughly. Dry by pressing. Do not dry near direct heat sources (radiators, sunlight). Do not use stain removers.
Warnings
In case of severe edema: monitor your hand during use. Remove the device if it is too tight and restricts circulation. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not apply any creams or ointments before wearing the orthosis.
Do not use near flames or incandescent materials.
Do not use on broken skin.
