Description
Disposable silicone wipes protect the skin from contact with effluents, enzymatic fluids, and medical device adhesives. Esenta wipes also facilitate device adhesion.
Esenta™ Protective Wipes are made of medical-grade viscose/polyester and soaked in 3 ml of a silicone fluid formulation and a silicone resin. Once applied to the affected area, the silicone fluid acts as a carrier for the resin, which disperses on the skin, leaving a thin protective layer on the surface. The wipes are individually packaged in hermetically sealed tear-open sachets. Each wipe is intended for single use. The fluid in which the wipes are soaked is clear and colorless and dries quickly after application.
They protect the peristomal skin from changes caused by contact with stoma waste, enzymatic fluids, and medical device adhesives through a thin, breathable silicone barrier. The protective layer is waterproof and provides a barrier to stoma waste, facilitating device adhesion. The wipe should be wiped over the skin surface and dries quickly, leaving the skin soft, silky, and ready for the application of a new device or dressing. The product helps soothe red and irritated skin, reducing itching. To maintain complete protection, it is recommended to use the wipes after cleansing and every time the device is changed. Esenta's formula is designed not to form clumps. Upon contact with the skin, it does not sting, even in the presence of irritation. The wipes do not leave a greasy feeling.

Conservation
The product must be stored in an environment where the temperature does not exceed 50°C.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 48 months.
