Adhesive Removal Wipes
EXEMPT
Disposable silicone wipes for the atraumatic and gentle removal of medical adhesives or adherent devices: ostomy devices, plasters and adhesive residues.
Esenta Adhesive Removal Wipes are made from medical-grade viscose/polyester and soaked in 3ml of a fluid silicone formulation that breaks the bond between an adhesive and the skin allowing for easier adhesive removal.
The wipes are individually packaged in hermetically sealed sachets with a tear-off opening. Each wipe is disposable and alcohol-free. The fluid in which the wipes are soaked is clear and colorless, and dries on the skin quickly after application without leaving any residue.
It helps in the atraumatic removal of medical adhesives, reducing tearing trauma and protecting the skin from irritation. Once applied to the affected area, they dry in seconds, leaving the skin clean and free of residue. The product moisturizes the skin, leaving it soft, silky, and ready for the adhesion of a new device or dressing. It is recommended to use the wipes every time the device is changed.
It doesn't sting on contact with the skin, even if it's irritated. Upon application, you may feel a slight cooling sensation in the affected area.
The wipes do not leave the skin greasy.
Conservation
The product must be stored in an environment where the temperature does not exceed 50°C.
Shelf life of intact packaging: 48 months.
