eva/q u
CE Class I medical device. The eva/qu suppository is indicated for all cases of delays in regular bowel movements, whether occasional or recurrent. The absence of pharmacologically active substances, which can be absorbed by the body and cause side effects, makes eva/qu a valid and effective product for constipation. Its gentle local action, devoid of systemic effects, allows the suppository to be used even during periods such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, convalescence, and advanced age. It is also suitable for people with motor disabilities. The eva/qu suppository is also indicated before medical procedures such as rectal examination preparation, and before surgical, gastroenterological, urological, and procto-rectoscopy visits. eva/qu is a valuable aid during travel, when cases of stubborn constipation may arise and require prompt and effective relief.
How to use
Use one or more suppositories for each treatment. Once inserted into the anal cavity, the eva/qu suppository is in close contact with body temperature. After approximately 3-4 minutes, the suppository dissolves and releases the CO2 responsible for the effervescent effect, characterized by the production of numerous microbubbles. The bubbles formed exert a localized effect, "massaging" the walls of the rectum. The dissolved suppository also softens stagnant stool located in the rectal cavity, promoting detachment and a quick and satisfactory evacuation. Repeated use of the evaqu suppository also promotes the rehabilitation of the physiological, "sluggish" defecation mechanism.
Warnings
Eva/Qu suppositories for adults are not indicated for children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Use one or more suppositories per treatment. A sensation of incomplete emptying or a slight temporary burning sensation should not be cause for concern. They resolve quickly. The suppository contains polyethylene glycol, which may cause irritation.
Contraindications
There are no contraindications to the use of eva/qu evacuating suppositories. The suppository can also be used in the presence of hemorrhoids or local lesions, even if used frequently and for prolonged periods. The suppository is made from natural and completely non-toxic substances (sodium bicarbonate, potassium bitartrate), which are also used in many food preparations.
