Flexima 3S
CE-certified medical device, Class I, non-sterile. Standard and convex plates. The plate features a single-layer hydrocolloid skin protector of uniform thickness to ensure an effective seal. The special design of the skin protector prevents the flange from contacting the peristomal skin. The plate's structure is elongated downwards to improve skin protection under the stoma. The highly flexible polyethylene flange features a safety guide at the bottom that allows for easy positioning of the pouch, ensuring proper attachment between the pouch and the plate. It also features a snap-on fastening device at the top to further ensure a secure connection between the plate and the pouch. The convex plate features a unique convex shape that allows for proper externalization of the stoma without exerting excessive and localized pressure on the peristomal skin. Pressure relief is gradually distributed over a large area of skin. The convexity is 6 mm deep.The baseplate is made of a uniformly thick single layer of hydrocolloid skin protector, joined to a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) pouch connection ring. It also features a polyethylene film that allows the pouch connection ring to be separated from the base of the baseplate. This allows the thumbs to be inserted under the ring to facilitate the connection between the pouch and the baseplate, avoiding pressure on the abdomen. The flange is highly flexible and features a safety guide at the bottom that allows for safe and precise positioning of the pouch. The skin protector is supplied with a protective card imprinted with the product identification data and the different cut-out lines for the skin protector depending on the stoma diameter.
