Description
Healing agent indicated in the treatment of infected wounds and burns, dermatological conditions of bacterial origin or predisposed to the development of secondary infections.
How to use
After removing the two protective films, the gauze should be applied to the previously cleaned and disinfected wound. The gauze should then be covered with sterile gauze and cotton wool.
The dressing can be kept in place with an appropriate bandage.
Before each new application, it is recommended to clean the wound with saline solution.
The application must be renewed every 24 hours from granulation until complete healing.
The progress of the healing process of the wound or burn must be evaluated by the doctor.
The total duration of treatment should not exceed 1 month.
Components
Sterile gauze impregnated with 0.05% hyaluronic acid cream (sodium salt) and 1% silver sulfadiazine. Other ingredients: macrogol, glycerol, water.
Warnings
In very rare cases, local hypersensitivity reactions such as eczema have been observed. Any serious incidents related to the device should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent national authority.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to sulphonamides, general or topical (contact eczema), to hyaluronic acid or to any of the components of ialuset Plus cream and gauze.
Due to insufficient data available in humans, the use of ialuset Plus is not recommended in children under 2 years of age.
- Follow appropriate methods for cleaning and disinfecting wounds, burns, and surrounding skin. The use of ialuset Plus in combination with enzymatic cleansers has not been evaluated.
- Avoid exposing the body parts treated with ialuset® Plus to the sun (due to the risk of photosensitivity). Temporary discoloration of the wound bed may occur, which can be eliminated with simple washing.
- In patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, avoid applying the product to open wounds.
- Children: Ialuset Plus should be used with caution in children over 2 years of age. Treatment should not exceed 15 days without consulting a doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not ingest.
- Cream: Close the tube tightly after each use. Do not apply the end of the tube directly to the wound.
- Sterile, single-use impregnated gauze (sterilized by Beta rays): do not reuse to avoid the risk of contamination.
- Do not use if the package is damaged.
- Expired or unused products should not be thrown away, but disposed of at your local pharmacy.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: ialuset Plus should be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women only if strictly necessary.
Conservation
Store below 30°C, away from light.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
