IRILENS EYE DROPS 10 ML BOTTLE

Description
Sterile ophthalmic solution containing 0.4% high molecular weight biotechnologically derived hyaluronic acid sodium salt. Hyaluronic acid sodium salt is a mucopolysaccharide that restores tear film balance in cases of tear film alterations. Its 0.4% concentration provides greater hydration with prolonged action.
Irilens 0.4% eye drops is a lubricating and hydrating ophthalmic solution indicated in all cases of dry eye disorders such as the use of contact lenses, environmental factors (sun, wind, cold, smoky rooms, rooms with dry air produced by heating or air conditioning systems), prolonged use of a personal computer, advanced age, the use of medications (antidepressants, anxiolytics, hormones and antihistamines), and eye surgery.
The formulation of Irilens 0.4% eye drops in a multi-dose bottle contains sodium chlorite as a preservative, which has an effective antimicrobial action inside the container, blocking bacterial proliferation and ensuring better tolerability of the product as it belongs to the category of "disappearing preservatives" which, once instilled into the eye, decompose.
In fact, after application, sodium chloride converts into oxygen, which evaporates, and sodium chloride, which becomes part of the solution and has no effect. Unlike other preservatives, this component does not remain in the eye as such, preventing the adverse effects generally associated with the use of conventional preservatives.
It can also be used with all types of contact lenses worn.

Components
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.4%, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, disodium EDTA, sodium chlorite, purified water.
Does not contain benzalkonium chloride.

How to use
Open the bottle by removing the protective cap. Instill 1-2 drops in each eye by lightly squeezing the bottle. Recap immediately after use. Also suitable for frequent use, several times a day if necessary, based on need or doctor's instructions. Contact lens wearers can apply 1-2 drops of solution to each lens before insertion to keep the eye moist and lubricated.

Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
The product is for use by a single patient only.
Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.
Allow at least 10-15 minutes to pass after use before instilling medications for external ophthalmic use.
During application, do not touch your eye or any other surface with the dispensing end of the container.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Keep out of reach of children.
If you experience any discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
In some cases, after administration, a brief blurring of vision has been observed due to the density of the solution, which however disappears very quickly.

Conservation
Store below 30°C.
Shelf life after opening: 3 months.
