HYLO-CARE

Description
Sterile, preservative-free solution for ophthalmic use. Hylo Care is used for lubrication and as an adjunct in the treatment of damaged eye surfaces caused by dry eye or surgery.
To keep the eye healthy, the external tissues—the conjunctiva and cornea—must be constantly moist. Only then can the eye function properly and avoid discomfort. If, while staying in a dry or air-conditioned environment, exposed to wind or sun, or at the end of a long day, you experience burning, itching, tiredness, and dry eyes, this may indicate poor eye lubrication. In this case, we recommend applying Hylo Care to intensely moisturize the eye and restore its natural moisture balance.
Hylo Care contains the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, a physiological substance found in the eye and other parts of the body. Sodium hyaluronate has the unique ability to form a homogeneous and long-lasting lubricating film on the surface of the eye, which is not quickly removed. Therefore, the moisturizing effect lasts a long time, without compromising vision. This is why Hylo Care can be used safely throughout the day, unlike eye ointments, whose use during the day is not recommended due to their greasy consistency, which causes blurred vision. Furthermore, Hylo Care contains dexpanthenol, a member of the large group of B vitamins. This component satisfies the eye's need for intensive regeneration and supports the lubricating effect of sodium hyaluronate. Hylo Care provides immediate relief to irritated eyes, refreshing them, and maintaining their health.

Composition
1 ml Hylo Care contains 1 mg sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate and water for injections.

How to use
1) Remove the cap before use. To remove the cap, hold it firmly with one hand and twist the bottle downward with the other. Before the first application, turn the bottle upside down with the dropper facing down and press the bottom of the bottle to release the first drop from the dropper. The bottle is now ready for subsequent applications.
2) Hold the bottle upside down by placing your thumb on the top of the bottle and your other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.
3) Support the hand holding the bottle with your free hand.
4) Tilt your head back slightly and press quickly and firmly on the bottom of the bottle. This activates the mechanism to release ONE drop. Thanks to the Comod System's special valve mechanism, the size and speed of each drop are always the same, regardless of the pressure applied. Close your eyes slowly to allow the fluid to spread across the surface of the eye.
5) After use, immediately replace the cap on the bottle, ensuring there is no liquid residue on the dropper. During instillation, avoid contact between the bottle's dropper and the eye or facial skin. The commercially available Comod system delivers 10 ml of solution, equivalent to approximately 300 drops. For technical reasons, a small amount of solution always remains in the bottle after use. The Hylo Care bottle should be used for the treatment of a single person only.
If using any other eye drops, wait at least 30 minutes between applications and always use Hylo Care last. Eye ointments, however, should always be applied after Hylo Care. Because Hylo Care is preservative-free, it is well tolerated even with prolonged use. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions, such as burning or excessive tearing, have been reported, which resolved immediately after stopping use of Hylo Care. Hylo Care can also be used while wearing contact lenses. To avoid potential incompatibility reactions due to possible interactions between contact lens care products and Hylo Care, we recommend waiting approximately 30 minutes after inserting contact lenses before instilling the eye drops. Hylo Care can be used in children, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding.

Warnings
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children. Use Hylo Care according to your symptoms and as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Generally, instill one drop of Hylo Care in each eye three times a day. More frequent use is permitted if necessary. If you use Hylo Care more frequently (e.g., more than 10 times a day), consult an ophthalmologist. Hylo Care is indicated for long-term treatment. As with all conditions, it is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist if symptoms persist.
