Iodine It is part of the molecules of the thyroid hormones T3 and T4 and in fact contributes to the normal production of these hormones and to regular thyroid activity.
Selenium It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc An essential component of numerous enzymes, it contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Magnesium It plays an essential role in a large number of important cellular reactions.
Vitamin D It contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus and helps maintain normal blood calcium levels. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and normal muscle function. Vitamin D also plays a role in the normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin E It has fundamental antioxidant properties, in fact it contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin B1 It contributes to normal energy metabolism; vitamin B1 deficiency is in fact associated with alterations in carbohydrate metabolism.
Vitamin B2 It participates in various cellular oxidation-reduction reactions, promoting cell protection from oxidative stress and contributing to normal energy metabolism. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and skin; its deficiency, in fact, causes alterations to the skin and mucous membranes.
Vitamin B6 It contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism.
