KALOIDON SCARS GEL 75 ML

Description
Kaloidon is an advanced gel formulation which, thanks to its components, helps improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, skin thickening and/or keloids) secondary to surgical interventions or various types of harmful insults.
Allium cepa (onion) extract*, with a high content of quercetin and its glucosides (guaranteed to exceed 10%), promotes proper healing and reduces redness and itching of the developing tissue. The presence of allantoin contributes to the soothing effect, while low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate support skin hydration and elasticity.
The phytogenic effect is guaranteed by pullulan gel, a complex sugar of plant origin which, in addition to maintaining the physiological hydration of scar tissue, stimulates skin renewal.
Furthermore, Kaloidon, due to its formulation, facilitates optimal scar massage. From the early stages after stitch removal, it is important to massage the scar daily to maintain tissue elasticity, stimulate blood circulation, and prevent the formation of adhesions with underlying tissue, which can negatively impact the functionality of the affected area.

How to use
It is recommended to massage the skin with the movements shown below:
1. perform circular movements both on and around the scar;
2. Run your fingers parallel to the scar line in both directions;
3. Move your fingers in a zigzag motion along the scar.
For particularly hardened tissue, continue the massage for about 15 minutes, repeating the various steps 4-5 times. On very thickened scars, Kaloidon can also be used as a compress.
Kaloidon should be used after stitch removal on intact skin. Apply an appropriate amount of product to clean, dry skin two or more times a day, massaging until completely absorbed.
We recommend using Kaloidon continuously for at least 2 months on newly formed scars; on existing scars and keloids, application can be extended up to 3-6 months.

Components
Aqua, propylene glycol, pullulan, triethanolamine, alcohol, Allium cepa bulb extract, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, allantoin, sodium benzoate, glycosaminoglycans, tetrasodium EDTA, benzoic acid, sodium hyaluronate, dehydroacetic acid.

Warnings
Use of the product is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the components. For external use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the tube opening is missing).
Kaloidon is a transparent gel with a dark amber color. Any differences in shade are due to the natural origin of the onion extract.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
