Advanced cream formulation which, thanks to its components, helps improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, skin thickening and/or keloids) secondary to surgical interventions or harmful insults of various kinds.
The silicone components in Kaloidon TiO2 form a gas-permeable, flexible, and waterproof film that promotes proper skin hydration. Furthermore, the presence of exclusively physical sun filters (micronized titanium dioxide) allows for the formation of a barrier that guarantees adequate protection of the scar from the sun's rays, which often cause poor healing and possible darkening.
Allium cepa (onion) extract, with a high content of quercetin and its glucosides (guaranteed to exceed 10%), promotes proper healing and reduces redness and itching of the developing tissue. The presence of allantoin contributes to the formulation's soothing effect on scars.
On particularly thickened scars Kaloidon TiO2 can also be applied as a compress.
How to use
It should be used after stitch removal on intact skin. Apply a thin layer of product to clean, dry skin, two or more times a day, in an amount sufficient to cover the affected area. Use is recommended before exposure to sunlight. It is also recommended to use Kaloidon TiO2 continuously for at least two months on newly formed scars; on existing scars and keloids, it is recommended to continue application for three to six months, possibly with a compress.

Warnings
Use of the product is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the components. For external use only. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (if the aluminum seal on the tube neck is missing).
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 12 months.
