What is it and what is it used for?
Lacrimart is an ophthalmological disinfectant and lubricant product for ophthalmic use.
Why it is used:
Disinfection of the ocular mucosa. Lubricant and moisturizer of the eye in cases of insufficient tear secretion (dry eye syndrome).
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Hypersensitivity to the components or other closely related chemical substances. Due to the presence of benzalkonium chloride, do not use Lacrimart while wearing soft contact lenses, but between each wear.
Warnings and precautions
Lacrimart can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Possible side effects
In some cases, intolerance (burning or irritation) may occur, but this is otherwise harmless and does not require treatment modification.
