Description
Food supplement based on potassium, magnesium, and zinc citrate, useful for integrating these nutrients in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased needs.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and electrolyte balance.
Contains zinc citrate as a source of zinc, which contributes to normal acid-base metabolism.
The technological process of manufacturing the tablet allows for the prolonged release of nutrients over time.

Ingredients
Each LITHOS tablet contains 715 mg of potassium citrate, equivalent to 273.7 mg of potassium (7 mEq), 274.4 mg of magnesium citrate, equivalent to 42.5 mg of magnesium (3.5 mEq) for a total of 10.5 mEq of citrate and 0.75 mg of zinc.

How to use
Unless otherwise indicated by your doctor, we recommend taking 2 tablets per day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, preferably on a full stomach, swallowing the tablet with a glass of water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
LITHOS is contraindicated in patients suffering from hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia, or from conditions that may predispose to the onset of such plasma alterations (such as chronic renal failure and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus).
Concomitant use of LITHOS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) may cause hyperkalemia. Monitoring potassium levels is therefore recommended. No interactions with other medications are known.
Mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea, and occasionally diarrhea may rarely occur during treatment. These symptoms can be alleviated by taking LITHOS on a full stomach.
The product may promote the alkalinization of urine.
