IDRA HYDROGEL
Hydrogel with hyaluronic acid to aid healing. CE 0476, Class IIa medical device. This hydrogel physically protects the wound and promotes proper skin re-epithelialization. It creates optimal moisture conditions to initiate proper healing. It can be applied to all types of wounds requiring protection, hydration, and healing: abrasions, grazes, lacerations, burns, and scalds.
The hydrogel matrix is made of a polymer capable of holding large amounts of water in its three-dimensional network and of resisting breakdown caused by the salts present in blood and wound exudates for a long time. The polymer does not break down immediately upon contact with salts and therefore allows for a gradual release of water, ensuring sustained hydration. Master-Aid Hydrogel aids the healing process by maintaining a moist environment in the wound for a prolonged period.
The innovative BOV technology leaves Master-Aid Hydrogel completely isolated from the external environment and the internal propellant. Bacterial contamination is controlled throughout the product's lifespan. The BOV dispenser allows the hydrogel to be applied directly to the wound, ensuring hygiene and ease of use.
