Description
A food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with reflux. Mellin AR 2 is produced using a proprietary process and is supplemented with carob seed gum, which improves the product's viscosity.

How to use
Before preparing the bottle, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring. Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle when lukewarm. To obtain a well-leveled measuring spoon, after filling it, remove any excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife. Add level measuring spoons of powder following the directions in the Average Feeding Table. Close the bottle and shake to dissolve the powder. Wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on your wrist.

Warnings
Follow the directions carefully: improper preparation and storage could pose a health risk to the infant. The product must be used under the supervision of a pediatrician. The product is indicated for infants from six to twelve months of age and cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for premature infants. Important: Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and should be encouraged and used whenever possible. It is recommended to prepare the milk only at mealtimes. Do not heat or boil the prepared milk. Do not reuse any leftover prepared product. Use only the measuring spoon provided.

Conservation
Store in a dry, clean place away from heat. Once opened, the package must be resealed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
Shelf life when packaging is intact: 18 months.
