What you need to know before taking the medicine
Known individual hypersensitivity to the product or to other closely related chemical compounds.
Interactions with other medicinal products None known.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding In pregnant women, the product should be used only if strictly necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor.

Effects on driving and using machines
No negative effects of miconazole on the ability to drive or use machines are known.


Warnings and precautions
Prolonged use of the drug may give rise to sensitization phenomena.
In this case, it is necessary to discontinue treatment and initiate appropriate therapy.


Possible side effects
Topical use: Occasionally, local sensitization or irritation phenomena occur, requiring the interruption of treatment.
Vaginal use: Various symptoms have been reported in the first few weeks of miconazole therapy: vaginal burning and irritation, pelvic cramps, and, more rarely, skin rashes and headache. In these cases, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy initiated.
