Solution for nasal use and aerosol therapy
Medical device indicated for nasal obstruction to promote mucus elimination; the product can also be used as a complement to treatments for common respiratory conditions (common cold, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis). The ready-to-use vials are indicated for the treatment of the upper respiratory tract. The vials can be used for both aerosol therapy and nasal drops. The product contains no preservatives.
How to use
Aerosol therapy
For optimal distribution of the preparation in the upper airways, we recommend using a micronized nasal douche attached to common pneumatic aerosol therapy devices. It can also be used with all types of aerosol devices (pneumatic or ultrasonic). In this case, for better distribution in the upper airways, we recommend using a nasal prong.
Blow your nose. Detach a vial and open it by twisting the top. Pour the entire contents of 1-2 vials into the appropriate container on the aerosol device. Follow the device's instructions and inhale until the vial is completely empty.
In children over 3 years of age and in adults: 1 vial 1-2 times a day, or 2 vials once a day.
Nasal use
Blow your nose. Remove a vial and open it by twisting the top. Tilt your head sideways and back, insert the tip of the container into your nostril, and press lightly to dispense the recommended dosage. Repeat for the other nostril. Raise your head to allow mucus to drain and dry any excess product. Avoid blowing your nose immediately after administering the product to prolong its effect. Close the vial tightly and store it in a dry place away from heat and light.
In children over 3 years of age and in adults: 2-3 drops per nostril up to a maximum of six administrations per day.
Components
Pyrometaxine (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid and copper sulfate pentahydrate), vegetable glycerol, sodium chloride, purified water.
Warnings
The product is intended for nasal drops and aerosol use according to the instructions above. Do not ingest. Use in children must be under adult supervision. Use one vial for one individual only. Use only on intact mucosa. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility to any component of the product. A slight and temporary burning sensation may be felt upon application and is related to the characteristics of the solution required to ensure its effectiveness. In children under three years of age, during pregnancy, and in cases of concomitant drug therapy, the product can be used only after consulting a doctor. Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, may cause sensitization or local irritation. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly intact when first opened. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the packaging. Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children. There are no known side effects related to the use of the product. Tests conducted on the product to date have not revealed any sensitization or other side effects. If you experience any discomfort, consult your doctor.
Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources (recommended temperature between 10 and 30°C) and protected from light. The expiration date, shown on the packaging and each vial, refers to the intact and properly stored product.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months
