Description
CE Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC) Class IIa.
Laxative indicated in the treatment of occasional and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents and children.
Free from preservatives.
How to use
Open one sachet and pour the contents into a 200 ml glass. Fill with still water. Stir well for about 10-15 seconds and drink immediately after diluting the powder. Alternatively, you can use tea, herbal teas, milk, yogurt, fruit juices, or squeezed fruit juices. Any thickening of the solution is a characteristic of the product. For best results, we recommend drinking 1-2 glasses of water afterwards.
Nostip complex powder for oral solution can be taken at any time of the day, at least half an hour before bedtime.
- Adults: 2 sachets per day, preferably morning and evening.
- Children and adolescents aged 3 to 14 years: 1 sachet per day.
The general duration of treatment is about two weeks. If your constipation is caused by a disease such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, or if you are taking other products that cause constipation, your doctor may recommend taking Nostip complex powder for oral solution for a longer period than two weeks. Long-term treatment generally requires one sachet per day.

Warnings
The Nostip complex powder for oral solution medical device is generally well tolerated because its mechanism of action is physical/mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption. Side effects may occur during use, such as indigestion, stomach pain or rumbling, bloating, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, anal irritation, and mild diarrhea. These side effects improve with dose reduction. If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use and contact your doctor. If you experience any side effects, whether described in the package insert or not, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
If you have a sugar intolerance, consult your doctor before taking Nostip complex powder for oral solution. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not use if you have: esophageal or gastrointestinal strictures; intestinal blockage (intestinal obstruction, ileus); intestinal wall perforation; severe intestinal disease such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, or toxic megacolon; or individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. The safety of Nostip complex powder for oral solution during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. In such circumstances, it is recommended to consult your doctor.
Due to the increased gastrointestinal transit speed induced by Nostip complex powder for oral solution, its concomitant use with other products or medications may temporarily reduce intestinal absorption. Psyllium seeds may also enhance the effect of cholesterol-lowering and hypoglycemic products or medications. Therefore, in such circumstances, it is advisable to take Nostip complex powder for oral solution at least two hours before or two hours after taking such products or medications; in any case, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Do not use after the expiry date or if the package is opened or damaged.
